German Auto Tech was started over 50 years ago in West Memphis, Arkansas by Dietmar Streider who had worked in the Volkswagen factory in Germany as a mechanic. He started the original German Auto Tech in 1970.

Realizing that customers also needed European auto repair he retooled his shop to accommodate more makes and models. Good job on short notice
I took my vehicle to another repair tech due to never needing support locally. They could not repair and recommended German Auto Tech, I’m thankful they were available. Repair made without issue, only hassle was waiting on parts delivery. Good job and thank you.

Over charge and lack of communication
Charged a ridiculous amount to tell.me what i already told them was wrong with the car as a "diagnostic charge". Had to call multiple times to get in touch with them, they disnt respond to the text number they had on their VM.

Coolant Leak on my BMW X1
I took my car in due to a radiator fluid leak. I had hoped it was a leaky hose, but German Auto Tech identified the oil cooler as the issue and provided a quote for the repair, including parts and labor. They had to order the parts, but they got me back on the road promptly with no more leaks.

I have been utilizing German Auto Tech since acquiring the BMW, and they have consistently provided excellent service during each visit. We also own a Jaguar and have used their services a few times for that vehicle as well, always with outstanding results.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They consistently provide updates via call or text, and the service is excellent. What more could one ask for?
