We brought our GV80 in for regular maintenance and a limited slip warning message. We were told the car was good to go so we brought the car home and, 30 minutes later, the same warning light goes off. They didn't even check it.
We called them back. They said sorry they didnt check it and to bring it in again. We did and they said they needed to order a part and to come back in 3 weeks.
We come back the 3rd time when the part arrives and schedule an 8am appt and drop it off the night before.
We get a call at 10am or so from a service advisor, Henry, asking why the car is even there. Mind you, we had an 8am appt set up by the dealer to install this specific part they just got in
He first attempted to charge us almost $200 for an under warranty issue and didn't even know we were there for a specific part to be installed. He even asked my wife who took the call, why is the car in today, oil change? They just did an oil change a month earlier lol He then said he needed to speak to a mechanic about the limited slip issue. We get a call back at 2:30pm stating that it can't be done today on Friday and we can pick it up Monday. Due to the service dept disorganization, we have to wait the entire weekend. We had an 8am appt to have it installed but 6.5 hours of fumbling later, they realize what they need to do and the day is almost over.
Find any other service department. If you can't, be very diligent with them as they require determination.
