Great car but no customer service
I totally love my Genesis and hope to buy another one. But I have serious concerns since Jaylene from the service department hung up on me. She insisted that my Genesis did not qualify for valet service although I have never paid for it in the past. More importantly, what kind of customer service will a Genesis owner receive when a service rep hangs up on them? I am still waiting for a return call from a manager to explain Jaylene's behavior to me. Does this dealership only care about selling cars and not about the treatment customers receive once they have bought those cars?

Service department decision

Terrible customer service
Brought a Genesis GV80 a year ago, and customer service is worse than terrible. Not truthful in sales promises, unresponsive, deceitful, and generally frustrating. Verbal promises from the sales team have never been kept, letters to management never answered, and multiple emails and phone calls unheeded.

Could have been better...
Called ahead before making the 1+40 drive to the dealership. Was told by a sales manager that the specific GV80 that I was calling about was indeed in inventory and available for purchase. Made the drive up that day, test drove the vehicle, negotiated a price, only to then be told the vehicle was NOT available for purchase. In its place we were offered a similarly equipped GV80, but this one had 8000 miles on it. We declined the offer to buy a used vehicle at new vehicle pricing.
Eventually bought a different GV80, same trim but a different color than what was desired. Paperwork provided by and filled out by the dealership was rejected by the DMV for having conflicting information on it. Required getting new paperwork and revisiting the DMV for a second appointment.
Vehicle was delivered to us with a vaping device in the driver's side door handle pocket. Seriously?
Was told by Genesis Concierge as well as the genesis.com website info that the vehicle comes with an NFC Key Card. It was delivered without one. We've had a few phone conversations with the dealership since and the dealership is not willing to provide us with an NFC Key Card for this vehicle.
Salesman "Ryan" was terrific. No complaints with him.
