Great car. Terrible sales experience
We went to Columbus instead and loved it. Nothing wrong with Genesis but some people in the store behaved like they were doing me a favor showing me a car.

Horrible communication, zero communication
This place has a whole new area for Genesis but the service is sub par. got there walked in no one on in there as I waited then another customer came in still no representative. Finally someone came in took my info to run an error code. Hour later I to follow up with the person. Comes back with ridiculous quote. This is the worst Genesis dealer. As I’m sitting in room People have been waiting for car washes which was broken . Oil changes that were finished but no one notified them at 90 dollars and couldn’t even assist in finding s five dollar coupon on website. Rude cashier at window doesn’t mind making you wait. Stay clear

Beyond disappointed…
My G80 had a recall failure. It took 3 weeks to schedule an appointment. Was not offered a loaner. Once they looked at the issue, I was told someone from Hyundai would have to come inspect the car to see if was a true recall failure or driver error. They said it would take a MONTH so they put me in a G80 loaner in which I got hit. I returned the car and received a G70 which is so tiny, no one can sit in the backseat. Requested a different car twice but my service writer refused to return my call. After numerous other calls an no one ever coming to look at my car, I was told Hyundai was deciding to repair the issue and parts were on order. I waited 2 weeks to call and check on car status. No return call. I call the service manager, no return call. I call the dealership manager and within 10 minutes I’m told my car will be ready the next day. It was fixed and I drove an hour to the dealership to pick my car up. The date is 1/30/23. My car sat on their lot for 6 weeks. They pull my car up and hand me the keys. My black G80 was so filthy it was almost white. I’ve driven other “luxury” brands and always had a car wash with service. The least they could have done. If you live in Cincinnati, buy ANYTHING but a Genesis.

I took my Genesis in for service because the front turn signals were not working. One hour later I received an estimate of $3,676 to fix the turn signals. The estimate said two head lights had to be replaced because the car had been in an accident. The car had not been in an accident. I took my car to the neighborhood mechanic. In 20 minutes he replaced two light bulbs. Cost—$23.72–includes tax and labor. The head lights work, the turn signals work. Either the person who gave the estimate was not trained or taking advantage of a female senior citizen.

Poor service, not worth visiting
Made an appointment for servicing my GV 80, I was booked for 10:30 am on Saturday. I arrived there by 10:15 am and was told “if I were you I would get the vehicle some other day, there are 6-7 vehicles ahead of you and we are not taking any more vehicles today and even if we did you would have to wait for over an hour and half”. Talked to the customer service agent at front seat who said that the person who made an appointment for me was not even supposed to make an appointment for today as Saturdays are only walk ins. You must be kidding me! Needles to say I am never going here ever again if only I had a choice (there are no other Genesis dealerships in the are). This is not the first time this has happened here, when I had to get my tire changed (through tire and wheel insurance) it was a nightmare. Sorry guys, you are not seeing me back here.

Thank you for your feedback.  An intermittent transmission problem that can not be duplicated can be hard to diagnose.  We reset the adaptive values on the transmission when you were here.  Please allow the transmission a few hundred miles to finish adjusting.  Thank you for your business Mark.

They try very hard to satisfy.
All in all, everyone I was in contact with tried very hard to satisfy me. That includes check-in man; service writer; mechanic; cashier; General Manager.

Poor
Two occasions I have brought my genesis in for a back up camera under warranty but the problem they said was the radio and needed a new system that wasn’t covered under a warranty. Techs need more training.
Brought in for the oil change quoted me wrong price because this car takes more oil.

digitally on a tablet and all criteria are sent directly when done, however there are other things

Great job
Called to get service for my G80. They offered concierge pick up service, which was great. They picked up my car at work, and left a loaner for me to use. Then delivered my fixed car the day after a snowstorm, and it was washed. They were very professional and prompt. I highly recommend them.
