I’m not one to complain for little things but I have to let people know about my experience with the service department at Genesis of Lexington. On my 2nd scheduled oil change/tire rotation, my tires were not rotated, my husband caught this and contacted the service manager, they reviewed the video from that day and said that the technician failed to rotate my tires, they said I could bring it back and get it done but I live 1 hour away and I work full time. I never had the chance to get them rotated until I took my vehicle back for the 3rd service appointment. On this date I reminded the service department that the tires were not rotated last time. I got the oil changed and rotated on Dec. 28th, the next day I drove to work and my husband noticed oil in the garage floor, he checked when I got home, the oil was leaking, the oil drain plug was so loose he could turn it with his fingers. Luckily the oil plug didn’t fall out while I was driving. The oil access panel is also missing. When I contacted the service department, they said they were sorry and I could bring the vehicle back and they would add more oil.

I contacted Genesis, they said they would document the issues, basically no help.

This is frustrating, especially when you purchase a nice vehicle and can’t get good service. I’m just warning you if you are looking to purchase and need service in Kentucky.
