Norm Reeves is no improvement from Freeman
The dealership was not prepared to be a luxury brand dealership when it was Freeman……the Genesis experience was a Hyundai experience. Norm Reeves ownership unfortunately hasn’t changed the situation. They are currently not offering concierge service (which is marketed as a benefit when you purchase a new Genesis) and they can’t tell you when they will offer it. If you want your Genesis serviced you need to drop the car off and figure out your own transportation! Seriously? Unfortunately Genesis USA’ response is “use another dealership”. Back to the Germans for my next SUV.

Very poor Serivce for a Luxury brand
Bought a brand new G70 prestige sport.
The first day I noticed bubbles in the rear window tint and rust on passenger side mirror. Took it in to have these repairs done. Took 4 days and when I received my car back it was filthy. Not the way to keep luxury car buyers customers happy

They don’t have knowledge of services
This is my 1st service. And worst experience. Firstly they mentioned and sticker like next service after 3000 miles and once I showed app is saying the intervals for 8000 he changed it to 8000 for next service. When I ask him, the same oil you changed is can I use extra 5000 miles? Then why you are giving sticker with 3000 or you change the wrong oil?
His response is irrelevant, everything is good. You are good to go. He doesn’t have the answer for question.

Questionable Service Lead to Potential Safety Issue
I had a 25k mile routine service visit completed at Genesis of Irving. They asked to rotate my tires. I agreed. I had a flat a week later and was told by the tire dealer that the life on my tires on the rear were low and the tires need replacing. I was never told about this at the dealer.

When i told them i just had the tires rotated, the said the stronger tires were in the front and this is not a good practice to move the lower life treads to a rear wheel drive car. This makes the car less safe. He recommended to replace the tires very soon. I feel very unsafe going back to Genesis of Irving if they will perform this level of service.

Excellent Service!!!
The check-in was easy. The service department did everything that I asked. There was an excellent line of communication with the advisor. The customer’s lounge was nice and clean. My car was washed and cleaned inside. The employees had excellent attitude.

Issues fixing Car play on GV80
I am not about to make phone calls via Car Play. However, this problem is intermittent and wasn’t acting up in the dealership. So, it’s still unresolved. Today, it started acting up - again.

The staff and facilities are awesome. I wish the valet service was not so "over booked" but at least it gave me a chance to interact face to face with the team (decided to drop myself my G90 and wait for the service). I was kept updated while my car was being serviced and everyone their was very friendly.

Impressed with the service!
This was my first experience in having my new 2021 G80 serviced at this dealership. I was apprehensive about what to expect but everything about this visit was great. I especially appreciated the inside and outside of the car being cleaned and vacuumed.
