Basic Service with Dave Met My Expectations
Dave from service is excellent. He communicates clearly, and the organization completed the work as scheduled, despite COVID-related staff shortages.

I need to temper my enthusiasm with this recent experience because not every encounter went smoothly in the past. More than 90 days after posting an earlier, unfavorable review, the only communication I received was superficial, "hey, I want to follow up with you" from the service manager. No one reached out to apologize for their failure to perform scheduled work (oil change), nor have I fielded any response regarding the rust spots on the chrome trim.

Problem the vehicle was brought in for was not corrected. Cost over $750 to have oil change and 60K service but failed to correct the problem with the proximity sensors.

Website scheduling needs work with loaner communication
If the service mgr provides his cell I'd expect not just quicker response but ANY response (text or return call). My closest dealership is over 6 hours away and would expect better service, communication, assurance the problem was fixed.

Communications, Follow thru, and Commitment to Genesis Quality of Service Needs Improvement
I dropped my G80 off for three items; excessive vibration from brakes, an oil change, and rust on the window trim/drip rail. It took a week and several efforts to make contact with the service manager to secure the status. The warranty process complicated the repair process; still, it required three weeks to repair and over a week before they offered a loaner. I picked up the car to learn the requested oil change did not happen, nor did anyone address the rust. After several calls and texts, I returned the vehicle for the oil change after learning the valet service failed to appear. The rust on the chrome remains unaddressed.

G70 valet service appointment
The service was great from start to finish. It was easy to set the appointment, received a follow up call from Planet Hyundai to confirm my appointment and personal details. I was hoping to utilize the loaner vehicle while my car was serviced as i had a meeting to attend that afternoon. Unfortunately, they had none available but the service team came and got my car, performed the service and had it back to me well before I had to leave. They as well washed my car before it was returned.

Great Service!
We live in Thornton, CO and I used the valet service for a 30K maintenance check. The process was seamless and we will definitely return for service, maintenance, and when the time comes, to purchase another Genesis.

The new Genesis Service Staff was very helpful, and responsive to my questions
Genesis of Golden is much closer to my home and the new staff was friendly, knowledgable about the G-70, and convenient with the the Valet Service.
