Hi Mrs. George, I looked into your last service visit and spoke with the advisor and service tech. They said that the lower shields had damage to them caused by something that hit them. The service advisor told me that he showed you the damaged parts. Genesis will not allow us to warranty something that is damaged. I can understand your concern about the price. I also looked into that. Most of the cost was in the parts, which is set by the manufacture. If you would like to discuss this I would be happy to talk with you.
