I left Lexus for Genesis in part for the car, GV70, which I love, but also for the warranty and valet service. The service department is an abomination since i bought the car in 2021. You can never get anyone on the phone or to get them to return a call. I have to call Connected Services ( a third party) to call on my behalf in order to get a response ( more than once). I can't be the first to complain and they have had plenty of time to improve. This is a premium car with low low budget service. There is no point in having premium service if you can't access it. I have talked to managers, I responded in surveys and nothing changes. NOTHING! I got my last car service out of state at Genesis of Bowie in Maryland and I was finally reminded why I bought a Genesis.

Painless process
David Kim was an absolute professional. He stayed in direct contact with me and provided continuous updates during a 5 month period. He made sure that I got the exact vehicle I wanted with the hard to get exterior and interior colors. Top notch team which I highly recommend!
I was lucky to have a very good salesman who was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He answered all my questions and when I needed extra help , he was there for me.

Excellent customer service, exceptional salesman, VICTOR BOICU, at Modern Hyundai of Concord. This is the third vehicle our family has purchased from modern Hyundai with Victor being our salesman each time. All dealings from start to finish were handled perfectly and efficiently.
My recent Genesis purchase was due to a motor vehicle accident which resulted in a total loss to my car (not my fault) and was based on a very short window of time within which to find a new or used replacement vehicle. With the Christmas holidays and little or no new car inventories my choices were limited at best. I was interested in an Audi and was able to test drive a used 5 and had pretty much resigned myself to going with that vehicle but my husband suggested checking with Modern Hyundai and fortunately we were lucky to discover several new Genesis GV 70’s had just come in at Modern Hyundai. Following a quick meeting with Victor and a test drive, there was no doubt a GV 70 was the better choice. I love my new Genesis! Thanks Victor and Modern Hyundai!!

I went to dealerships closer to my home but was very disappointed in them. However it was worth traveling 30 miles to deal with Modern Hyundai of Concord
It was my first experience purchasing a Hyundai and the entire car purchase experience was exceptional all the way through. The entire process was easy, efficient and pleasant. My sales associate was so very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service.
I completed my side of the transaction with a 2000k down payment, plus 1st month lease payment. Dealership was to purchase my car for 38.5k, less payoff of 29.1. Dealership at their discretion tried to use an arbitrary number of 29.6. To date I have been told that I would receive two checks for roughly 9.5k but it has been 10 days even though I was told I would receive my checks 4 days ago. Called dealership asking about my money, no follow up call today. Dec 27th
Gabe was great helping me pick my car and the whole entire process. Gabe and the whole entire team at Modern Hyundai and Modern Genesis in Concord, NC were great and would recommend everyone to shop for a new car there.
