Prompt attention and courtesy for unplanned, urgent repair.
On Saturday, 1/29/22 I discovered a MAJOR oil leak on my G70 Sport Edition while driving. Fortunately, I was able to get the car parked and the engine turned off before all the oil drained out of the engine. I had the car towed to the Central Florid dealership, but they only do oil changes on Saturday, so I knew it would be Monday before they could look at it. No call on Monday so I stopped by Tuesday morning at 7:30AM when they opened.

The good news, for some unknown reason the oil filter gasket ruptured, which is what caused the leak. The engine was checked for damage, cleaned and the oil and filter changed. I was very relieved to learn that there was no engine damage, I knew I need to get the car parked and the engine turned off ASAP.

When I got my car I inspected the underbody and found that the techs had missed cleaning some of the spilled oil further back on the frame and the underbody panels. The car was immediately taken back into the service bay and Joe and the techs promptly remedied the issue.

Throughout the entire process I was treated with respect, courtesy and understanding by Haley, Joe and Cesar. They all understood my concern when I first brought the car in, because this is not something that happens often. It could have been a major mechanical failure.

The concern they showed and how they cared for me and my G70 was exactly as I would have expected. A special thanks to Joe for making my issue a priority, as it should have been, and for giving me his complete attention even though his phone was ringing off the hook. I know he had a hundred other customers wanting to speak to him, but I never once felt like I was an inconvenience to him, or any other staff, even though this was an unscheduled service, that only added to their already very busy schedule.

Kudos and sincere appreciation for Cesar, Joe, Haley and the techs that worked on my car. I am super happy all is well and glad to be driving my G70 again.
