OVERPRICED & SHADY
NOT RECOMMENDED They did a decent job with the repair - as expected. My husband and I felt they weren't on the up-and-up about surprise repairs they said they found. By exaggerating the findings, charging an exorbitant price and offering very little information to back up the reasoning. We had to press for information. That felt odd. BUT - they charge $139 to look at the vehicle then they do NOT waive that if you have the repairs done. Nothing illegal or unethical - just really BAD business strategy. And the final charge was WAY more than expected!! We found out later we would've saved a few hundred through our usual repair place. And it would've been guaranteed/warrantied. We only used Gary Johnson because of their reviews and the we thought the transmission needed specialized repairs. We should have stayed with who we trusted - we didn't know they did transmissions. So we will go back to Hometown Auto in Owasso. They are the absolute best, most honest around. And, they waive extra costs if repairs are done through them.
