Unsatisfied customer
Salespeople don’t even know the product well enough to be there selling it. They said that the vehicle I was buying was put through the service department and was well serviced. It wasn’t because the next day I was driving and the visor clip was broken. Visor kept falling. The right head light at night was not level with the left. So I tried to adjust it and the adjustment was broken and had duct tape on it. The whole unit cost $1,200 just for the part. After I bought the SUV I ask , where is the 2nd Key fob. He said it was lost and there was only one. It cost $800 to get another one and program it because you have to have 2 to program the 3rd or just live with one. If you lose the one you have to tow the SUV to a dealer. The wipers were obviously put on wrong because they were making noise and were scratching the windshield and wobbling. Parts were missing on it and I had to buy new ones. $100 for that. Rear right and left seat belts were twisted and had to be set correctly, $909 for taking them apart and reassemble them. When I was signing paperwork the person closing the deal was in such a hurry to finish the deal. I have never signed so much paperwork in my life like they were hiding defected things on the SUV. Also they had me sign paperwork that was so different then all the other cars I have bought before. I usually buy from my local dealer in Santa Fe but I was looking for a commercial truck I stopped by Galles to check but they don’t sell commercial vehicles. My dealership don’t sell commercial trucks. I saw this SUV and thought it was a good deal. It was not. I am a Chevrolet person and own only Chevrolet. I never have worked with a dealership that just wants to sell, sell, sell. They don’t think of the customer going back to their dealership. I’m a contractor in Santa Fe and sold a house I built in Santa Fe to the Galles son and daughter- in-law and my company never sold them a house that was missing parts or bad materials. I take pride in what I sale to my customers. I am very disappointed in Galles Chevrolet. I will never buy from there or even trust the service department.
