Love My New Car!
The minute I arrived at the dealership I was given 5-Star service. Everyone was so nice and worked with me on the financing at top priority and set everything up in a way that works for my budget and got me in the car that I wanted! The only setback was it took so much time, but that was due to a mix up on VIN numbers with another vehicle similar to the one I wanted to purchase. Once that was cleared up everything else ran smoothly.

I appreciate how I was treated.

Definitely Don’t Buy Here!!!
There is not enough room to describe how poor my service and experience has been with Five Star & Hyundai. It truly has NOT been five star. I was so excited to purchase my very first car on my own in 2017! As a woman, the constant barrage of ogling men from sales, management, to the service department makes me never EVER want to recommend ANY Five Star dealership to ANY woman. On top of how uncomfortable and disgusted this place made me feel, Hyundai was in a class action suit for installing faulty engines unbeknownst to me. In April of 2022, after never having engine problems with my car, I noticed after an oil change (that I had to get done by another place because Hyundai was too busy to get my car in), that just 3 weeks later my car was completely empty of oil. Also note that when they were Auto Nation, I was turned away a few more times since apparently no one was available to work. To make a long story short, I was told through text message that I would get reimbursed for my car rental and that I should calm down because I was also getting a brand new engine. After keeping my car for a month on 3 separate occasions for various “tests”, the warranty company decided that they would not replace my engine and that it was my fault that my engine was consuming (not leaking) oil because I missed an oil change four years ago. They also refused the agreed upon rental reimbursement. Please be reminded that I have not once had a check engine OR oil light to come on EVER before April of this year.

They have jerked me around, disrespected me as a loyal female customer, lied, and ultimately washed their hands of any responsibility for my engine. To add insult to injury, they slap me in the face by sending emails and calling trying to persuade me to trade my car in to “be there to help me”, when we both know they would simply fix my car, resell it to a new owner, and make another $20k from them AS WELL as the new vehicle they are trying to persuade me to buy.

Any other dealership ANYWHERE else but here!! As a young woman and small business owner with over 7,000 followers and clients across the city and social media, I will be utilizing my voice to express my outrage. There are millions of customers in the exact same situation who will agree that this company is undeserving of loyal customers. All I did was trust them buy my first car. And now, I am stuck with a faulty vehicle.

Hyundai does not care, and I would not recommend Five Star to a soul; dead or alive. Please DO NOT endorse these lying irresponsible men.

This place is crap!
Service is terrible. They do not care about the customer. They don't answer the phone. No callbacks. I waited for over a month for warranty work done on my car. No apologies, nothing. No respect. I will never do business with this place again.

I have been going to this location since 2012. Like any other place, some mistakes have been made, but not bad enough to stop me from returning to get ALL my car issues resolved by Five star Hyundai Albany.
