I would give Ferra's company a zero if I could. This is the biggest scam that I have ever seen. I have heard about these towing companies who are in with the local police. I own a fleet of vehicles and I have been in business for 12 years. I have always told my employees to never have the police call for a tow truck. Well, last week one of my employees was rear-ended in Pittsburgh. The police called Ferra's Automotive services. I received the bill. The distance was 10 miles. Ferra's charged me $310. I called and spoke to the manager. He said they have special prices for towing if the police call. They triple the price of the towing. Ferra's is fraudulent. The company is using price gouging practices charging unexpected prices for the tow. They charge different prices depending on who calls the tow in. They triple the price of the tow if the police call in the crash. They totally know what they are doing. As soon as I said something to the manager he became very defensive and said that they don't gouge their customers. I have been in business for 12 years, I have never not paid a bill. Ferra's company will be the first company. I will refuse to pay. They can take me to court.
