Sorry you were not satisfied with your recent visit with us and would be happy to discuss any of this with you.
After looking at you incoming ticket you dropped the vehicle off after hours, I see you had a couple of concerns and only wanted the diagnostic test ( per the written letter you left in vehicle) and you were advised there would be diagnostic time and our hourly labor rate.
1) Noise around fuel pump; Technican notes found the exhaust ( that someone had altered) hitting brace and corrected the issue at that time while checking for the noise. You were shown in the shop by the technican what was making the noise and how the issue was resolved.
2) Ac isnt cooling properly; Tech checked to make sure commponets were working properly, there was no obvious leak detected. This could be a very small leak and over time will leak out again. To diagnose this issue-the Tech had to evacuate and re-fill with freon (to make sure proper amount is in the system *Fluid Capacity:
Air Cond Refrigerant - Volume: 2.10 LBS. (0.95KG) - R-134a ) and added a AC dye so that it would be dectected. After the vehicle`s ac system was set to run a bit and re-checked for leaks, again no leak was detected by the technician. At any point when the ac stops cooling properly, please return it to our facility as the dye added will have leaked out with the freon leaving behind a yellow trail and be visible to detect
3) Diagnoise oil leak; Technician notes show the vehicle will need valve cover gaskets, oil level sensor oring and rear main seal. You declined to repair
4) Rear driver door not opening properly; Technician notes show that the door was unable to be open from the out side or inside and that it could be a failed door latch or hardware. The technician did try for over an hour to see if he could take the door panel off from the inside of vehicle but was not succesful. At this time the technician was alarmed that the panel could brake and stopped. Tech notes show that in order to diagnose this issue and be correct the door panel has a high chance of be broken or will break while removing the panel to see if it is the latch or hardware. It is the only way to tell what is wrong on the inside of door . You declined the repair.
