Poor Experience
I helped get Eric started by sending him client’s and enough of my own personal business to get him out of working in his garage in the evenings/weekends & establish Erics Automotive.

I personally have paid him $15,000 - $20,000 in mechanical work in the last decade

1st strike:
We brought a Chevy Equinox in that my wife was looking at purchasing. Erics Auto gave us a green-light to purchase. Two weeks after the purchase we found the electronic system in the vehicle was unfixable. After dumping over $3300 in it, we sold it for a huge loss which put us in a financial hardship.

2nd strike:
I recently took a 2011 Subaru WRX STI in for a pre-buy which was given green-light. I paid him over $3000 to get the car to be a good reliable daily driver. I’ve had the car nearly a year and driven it less than 3000 miles due to it sporadically dying at stoplights (then having to pop the hood and shoot it with ether to get it to start). The original problems have not been fixed. The Subaru dealership said it has a faulty motor and will cost nearly $5000 to repair. I am so far upside down in the car because I trusted Eric’s Automotive’s Pre-buy service which I paid for.

3rd strike:
What has sent me over the top has been all the friends and family that I referred to his company to help his company grow and succeed. My dad who’s a purple-heart Vietnam veteran, took in his 2001 Ford F150 to get an engine replacement. Eric purchased the motor from one of his vendors. My dad had so many problems with the motor after it was installed in his truck & Eric would not back the work. He tried keeping it and every time he went in, he was sent an additional bill to try to fix the problem that should not have existed. My dad had to sell the truck for a huge loss.

4th strike:
I brought a 83 Volvo in to get running so I could flip the vehicle once it ran. Just wanted him to get it running. They had it nearly a yr and never got it running. They recently texted me saying i owe them $794.00 for work they did on the Volvo. They did not complete the work I took the car in for. I had to winch/pull the car on the trailer due to it not being able to start to be able to drop it off at my new mechanics shop.

Originally Eric worked with exceptional character and integrity. His company has grown & he has been out of town quite a bit enjoying the fruits of his hard earned labor. The people running his shop have not run the shop with the knowledge, experience, character and integrity, the integrity that Erics Automotive originally started out with.

I do not suggest anyone to pay for their services. Their rates have nearly doubled from when I originally became a customer and the quality of the their work has diminished.

I pray they will get back to their roots and treat their current & future customers with the integrity they started their company with.
