Misrepresentation of Warranty
First I would say that I wish I had checked them and their warranty out more completely. Their warranty company, Guardsman, is a complete joke. Read their reviews and see that people wish they could give them a "0". But Barb our salesperson really touted the 10 year warranty which made us feel more comfortable about buying a new type of leather like couch and loveseat. It was bad from delivery. The loveseat, obviously put together incorrectly, the welting didn't even come close to matching from one seat to the other. Ericksons or the furniture maker's warranty is one year. Well they managed to eat up that time with not believing their service guy and instead deciding it was the mechanism, which had to be ordered, received and then a new installation date. Well of course it wasn't the mechanism! So on to a new service person and back to the material and foam not installed correctly. Waiting for the approval, getting the new material and foam, and setting another installation time. Then he came and tore it apart and put the new foam and material on. No way was it lined up correctly but he had to leave for another appointment and it was now past our one year warranty date.
Don't accept their word for any warrantied item, read the fine print and ALL of the EXCLUSIONS that are in the warranty. It's a total joke but a great BAIT AND SWITCH SALESPITCH!

Spoke with Carla. She said this business bent over backwards to help her. She picked out a wrong chair twice, and they replaced them both times. She could not ask for better service. She would definitely shop at their facility again.
