DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I took my car in on a Saturday morning and asked for a wheel alignment. They wrote up an invoice and said it was going to take about two hours. So I left the car and took a $20 Uber home. A couple of hours later, they called and said they can’t do the job because the technician that works on the European cars was not in. I had to spend $23 on another Uber to get back to the shop. They were very nonchalant and nasty and I spent $43 and still no wheel alignment. My issue is if the person was not there that could do the work on my car, why not just tell me before I spent money going to and from their location. Then when I called to complain, the owner said the notes said that they’d referred me to a dealership; which is a complete lie. Then I asked who the owner was and he said it was corporately owned, which is another lie. He is the actual owner. His name is Omid (biggest liar ever)

Bad experience!!!!!!
Worse experience ever, I drop my car at 8:20 morning just to have a rear brake change even I bring the parts with me, I show up almost 4 pm after 7 hrs 1/2 just to discover that they didn’t do anything to my car, I make an appointment a day before just to avoid wasting time but was worse, if you don’t want to waste you time, don’t go there!!!!!! WORSE OF THE WORSE!!!!!!!

Terrible Shop
Took my car here to have the AC serviced and they found some other things that needed to be fixed. While making the repairs on my 2000 Corvette they broke the drink holder in the center consol. Instead of just fixing it correctly they kept trying to do the cheap fix. They would tell me parts were in but I would take the car back and they couldn't find the parts. I did this numerous times and took countless hours off work to drop off and pick up the car. Finally after 5 months I got them to just order the center console and when they put the new one in it still was not fixed correctly. Now I am trying to sell the car and I find out on the Vehicle History report they reported 22, 000 more miles than are currently on the car. This place is terrible! I would never take my worst enemies car here for anything!!!!

Staff makes you feel very welcomed and they really care about your needs!!
I'm a senior citizen that basically limped into your shop with very old tires and one flat. Edgar waited on me and I explained I was on a very limited budget. He spent some time with me trying to get me tires that were good and would fit into my budget. There was NO push to try to sell me more expensive tires. Edgar also saw to it that I had a cold bottle of water, offered some snacks and even gave me pizza they had ordered in for a training meeting for the employees! The waiting room was very clean and comfortable and the restroom was also spotless! My car also received a free bath after it got it's new tires! I would highly recommend Downey Car Care Center to everyone that wants a very pleasant experience!
PS: I've had my oil changed here a couple times now. Another time... I came in because something was hanging down in the front of my motor. I was really scared it was going to be something major! The mechanic found some sort of a shield in front of the motor that had fallen. They fixed it and never even charged me! I highly doubt there's many places you could ever get that kind of service!! Thank you for caring about a little "old" lady!!
