Don’s used to be my absolute favorite mechanic for all of my car’s needs. But, this last time was really disappointing. I took my Jeep in because I had an estimate done at Don’s previously for the work that needed to be done. The price of the work was more than $1,000 greater than the estimate. I do understand that estimates are just estimates. But, the price increase was a surprise. However, the biggest PROBLEM was that they sent me home with a car that was severely leaking from the issue that they said they had fixed. I took the car back in and was out of a car for about a week and was then charged for more parts. Again, I understand prices and parts and service issues. But, when Don’s sent me home with an unfixed car…wouldn’t you assume that they would want to fix it for me rather quickly? The whole thing sucked.
