Low-range system is working
I tried using low range on my Discovery during a weekend trip and the transfer case refused to shift, even though normal driving felt completely fine. They tested the system and found the transfer case actuator wasn’t completing its full travel. After replacing the actuator and performing the required calibration, every Terrain Response mode works the way it should again. Definitely one of those Land Rover problems I wanted handled by someone familiar with the system.
