I SPOKE TO SOON. For some reason, some (not all) Mechanic's take advantage of a person's plight with their vehicle. August 15, 2019, I wrote a review for work done on my car on August 12, 2019. I thought Paul was an honest person. I was very happy with the results until I found out I had to return to his shop not once, but twice. I returned on August 17, 2019, and paid an additional $159.00 and again on August 30, 2019, paying $$219.54 for the same EXACT work which was allegedly performed on August 12, 2019. August 12, 2019, I spent $$327.00. YES! $327.00 and was in his shop again 5 days later and spent $159.00. Then, 13 DAYS later another $219.00.
Before I digress in my doscoveries I was lied to and clearly my car was intentionally tampered with to make me return several times I looked at the invoice for 8/30 and Paul and Big Mouth wife charged me $8.42 for WD 40. Yes! You read it right. I was charged for WD 40 which they "fraudulently" classified as SHOP SUPPLIES and guess what they (kept) the WD 40. I was charged this amount to spray my 02 sensor. (1) 02 sensor. Yes! Yoy rad it right (1) 02 sensor. The same 02 SENSOR Paul told me was repaired on or about June 5, 2019, when I paid $156.00. Yes! $156.00. Liers and SCAMMERS. After all of this my check engine light is still on. Yes! It's still on.

Let's talk about the "rear differentia" Pual installed on 8/12/ and charged me for. Ok! I left the shop and noticed my car was making the same noise. LOUD! Paul told me the rear differential I bought was no good. I have received an E-BAY message from the seller. He told me GET A NEW MECHANIC. He was right. The differential was good. Paul knew it was good and totally and continually lied to me telling me it was no good. Prior to this: His Lying CRIMINAL friend whos allegedly a service technician tried to get Paul to convince me that I needed a new differential when in fact I did not. I was told it would be $2000. THIS IS WHAT THEY DO! Pay attention. They know you need your car and they make up crap to make you return. Please explain why Paul charged me for 3 quarts of NEW OIL which was put into the rear differential on 8/12 and on 8/30 tried to MAKE me buy three more quarts. How is that? It was his fault in the first place and he and his Big Mouth wife had the nerve to put on my receipt in their attempts to cover up their NEGLIGENCE and scam "customer request to put the used oil from old differential ino to the replacement diff against the advice of Deelz Automotive." Real sad! Of course, I REFUSED to buy more oil. It had only been since 8/12 the oil was put in and because of his lies and manipulation along with purposely misdiagnosis of my car I had to return to spend more money. My car still has the check engine light on and it sounds horrible. I took it to another shop. Guess what. It's not my rear differential it is a wheel bearing.

Going back to my return to his shop on 8/17. Do you want to know what it allegedly was? On 8/16/2019. four days after I paid $327.00 I started my car and my SLIP LIGHT CAME ON and my car would not go into gear. Yes! You have read it right. My car continually would shut off. My car would not go into gear. Yes! It would not go into gear. After investigating I was told someone messed with my CAMSHAFT SENSOR. Yes! Cam Shaft Sensor. Pual ordered one from the advance AUTO on 8/17. Yes! I paid $159.00 in costs and labor. Now, this was checked today by another mechanic. My camshaft sensor is not NEW. And as he stated it was clear what happened. This sensor was messed with to make me return. Because my car continually shut off while I was driving I was of course desperate. And also my car would not go into gear. Therefore, to make it go into gear I had to replace the 10 amp fuse. Thus, how is it this happened immediately after I just paid $327.00 IN LABOR COSTS? I'll tell you why? Some Mechanics are crooks and cons.

When I told Paul today 8/30 I disagreed with his charges and I refused his big mouth wife, of course, got involved. Pual had my car and my keys. My car was on a lift. I had no idea I was being charged these ridiculous prices for work which was not PERFORMED and also correctly done. Paul told me "fine Eddie if you don't pay will keep your car." Can you believe this? First, you lie and tell me it was my rear differential and this was the second time you worked on my car concerning this alleged problem then you try and JACK me for costs of (oil and WD 40). Sad! Finally, Paul admits my shop is closing and I need to make money. my response is you don't need to make money dishonestly. Paul made so much money off me in a short amount of time. And my car still is not performing correctly and as stated my check engine light is on. VERY DISHONEST MECHANIC!

IN CLOSING: I spoke with my insurance company and I was advised don't let mechanics drive your car if they cannot show you liability protection.

I have a new bumper on my car. It was put on in July 2019. It now has a SCRATCH very bad SCRATCH on it. Pual alleged it was not him.

I found out weeks later his WIFE and Randy an (unlicensed mechanic who has worked on my car and I requested he not because he's not qualified under Alabama consumer protections) drove my car without my approval nor authorization.

In closing: Paul was at one time in my opinion honest. When his wife and the unqualified OLD mechanic Randy and the advisor who continually visits would tell Paul how to swindle people this is what changed his business from honest to poor service and lies to rip you off.

I have a question for those who are reading this review. Honestly, HOW many times have you gone to a repair shop, for example, Pep Boys, Fire Stone, (BYOP) Bring your own Part AKA CROOKS.

Paul has worked on my car four times now. Prior to this, I had taken my car to the ripp off INFINITI DEALER in Hoover and they told me I needed a new ECU. Liers.

Do you know what was wrong? A vacuum LEAK. After thousands of dollars later and numerous headaches Paul was able to fix my car and now that 350 Z ENGINE I have run like its new.

BYOP told me I needed new fuel injectors. NOT!

Another lying MECHANIC located in Fairfield told me I needed new spark plugs and then told me I needed new injectors. I found out later he was simply having me come back as a paycheck for him. Fortunately, my bank SUED him and I got some of my money back. I was able to show he was a conman.

My point is PAUL is honest. If you need your car serviced let PAUL look at it and no one else. If he is not at the shop (which he always is) WAIT and let him look at your car because he's DEELZ AUTOMOTIVE.

HONEST man with integrity
Great customer service. Honest man. Real mechanic without the foolishness and lies a majority. Of service providers commit. Will tell you straight up whats wrong. No lies. Bo back and forth. No games.
