Last week, my 2020 3500 had shifting issues... And the chek engine light came on. So I needed to find an Auto Repair. I just moved to Farmington and hadn't dealt with any local auto shops yet. Saw the guy on Facebook and thought I'd give it a try. I gave Dave's Auto Centre a call and explained my issue. Thank you guys so much for actually listening to me .
Jake took amazing care of my truck! After that, I drove 1200 miles to Dallas, and everything's been smooth sailing. If you're dealing with any issues or need some top-notch pros who really know their stuff when it comes to diesel trucks, take your ride to Jake at this repair shop!

Amazing job
This shop did an amazing job restoring the engine of my 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500 van.
Thanks to them, I was able to drive (over 1,000 miles) without any more stops or issues. This shop really knows everything about Sprinters!🛠️
I recommend it to anyone who appreciates professional service and needs the help of top-notch mechanics 👌

I called for a quote for a killer dowel pin repair kit installed and they quoted me $5k-6k and for a 4” exhaust and they quoted me $1,000 just for labor. I would not use these guys, this is just preventative work on a 96 12 valve.. I called a diesel shop and they said it’s a 3 hrs job. Parts and labor on the dowel pin $516.12 and $540 for the exhaust parts and labor. Do not use these guys they are a joke.

Experience isn’t cheap
These guys cost more than other shops, but we took a chance on their estimate. The service was great. Brandon explained everything to us. It wasn’t great news but the issues were explained thoroughly and we’ve been driving our truck since the repair without issue. I can’t afford these guys for an oil change, but when we need something bigger, I’m going here first.

I took my 2009 dodge PU to Dave’s something was shorting out my PCM. He gave me a quote of $3800 to replace the battery cables and trouble shoot the problem. So ya ok thinking this is worst case if it takes a while to trouble shoot. I get a call after a couple of weeks and they can’t find a set of cables so they will have to make them which adds $400 to the cost to around “$1600” just for the cables. I should have seen it then but I told them go ahead. They get the cables changes and and I get a call and they say they won’t do any more until I approve a new TIPM and PMC for a total of $12,500. I had already replaced the TIPM and had a reflashed PCM in the back seat and they could put it in to trouble shoot. They said no that they would only continue if I bought new. I said no it wasn’t worth it and I would come and get it. When I went in to get it out the bill was $4500. So I wanted to know why and they said it was for the trouble shooting. When I questioned it they said oh we did trouble shoot it. I asked for Dave and he wasn’t there and no one else could talk to me. I paid the bill. I asked them to have Dave give me a call and it been nothing from him. Since I’ve asked several mechanics about troubleshooting when the PCM won’t scan and they say you can’t. I even tried to get partial payment denied from American Express but I guess what I signed up for was binding even tho they couldn’t trouble shoot without a working PCM. So basically I paid $4500 to get my battery cables changed. So if you like that kind of service take you car to them. I’ve asked several time to talk to Dave since and nothing.

Small Time Shop gone Rogue
When you talk customers into more expensive builds, like the Tow Monster Plus , you should install the parts accordingly. Dave installed cheaper pistons even though customer paid full price for higher quality parts, and still didn't send back all the hardware that was removed from engine that came with it. Do your research before letting someone handle 14k $ of your hard earned money.

Total scam
This place is scam and will take advantage of you! I brought my 1978 dodge w150 in for an engine rebuild. They quoted me $10,000 to $13,000. I had to pay a $450 diagnostic fee even though I knew what I wanted. They said it was required to even get started. After weeks of waiting for the diagnostic and the final bid, I had to call to only find out they diagnosed it with a blown head gasket. I already knew this and even told them when I dropped it off. Then I asked about a crate engine swap instead of a rebuild, they said they'd try to source a crate engine. After many more weeks of waiting, I called to find out if they had found any crate engine. They told me they don't do engine swaps, they only do engine re-builds. Then they told me the engine rebuild would now cost me $17,000 to $20,000. When I declined the service and went to get the truck, it hadn't moved since we dropped it off. The cover was still on it. They didn't even diagnose it, they just told me what I told them regarding the head gasket. I paid $450 just to get the run-around.

Would not recommend
Quoted 10K for new engine replacement for our Dodge 1500 charged 15K + with added fees for this and that.
Claimed a 100K warranty, but when tried to schedule for an issue they said I had to pay and if they thought the problem was there they would refund me later.
Of course, the issue was always someone else

WARNING!!
I drove my sprinter van to there shop from Riverton to Centerville because it was stuck in limp mode but ive been driving it that way for 2 months and i just wanted to have them look at it and give me the dinostic so i might do the work myself to fix the problem. I got a call the next day to tell me that the air filter and the oil filter were dirty and it would cost $530 to replace them and $230 for the dinostic total of $860 before they will move forward to do anything else. I said no and someone called me later on that day to tell me that the guy who called was new and they can just keep going on the dinostic but it would be 300 more for 2 more hrs of time. Ok the next day they call and say that they cant start the van and i will need to get a yow truck to take to mercedes because they cant fix it. I DROVE IT THERE!! the owner Dave came out and told me to get my van off his lot and i needed to pay the extra 320 before i do. I had been there for 10 minutes.

Think twice
This was a experience I hope to never have happen again . Biggest mistake I ever made by going to this shop . They will take you for as much money as they can . Then if you question them about anything they will just give you some made up BS and hang up on you. Tell you your vehicle is a peace of junk and no matter what your going to pay what they want or loose your car . They are set to get as much money as possible from you and are very nice when you first come in . Don't be fooled it's all a big scam to get all they can from you. Do not be fooled . You may want to look somewhere else to get your repairs done .
I went in expecting a price tag of 400-600 and got a quote for 1800. Trying to understand why the quote was so high, the worker just got defensive and told me that I did not have to have them so the work.
The really frustrating part is that they wanted to charge me 160 just for them to tell me how expensive the work will be. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they reduced that 160 down to 100 price for me. This type of process seems really shady to me.
Long story short, I paid the 100 and took my vehicle somewhere else that did the work for about 30% cheaper with out trying to trap me with a 160 fee just to look at the vehicle.

Excessively high quote
I took my BMW x5 in for a diagnostic ($165 diagnostic fee which is excessive in itself) it was overheating. After the diagnostic they told me it would cost $2600 to repair it. I asked why and they told me because there was 2 days labor involved. I youtubed the fix and ordered both the water pump AND the thermostat (the kit also included fluid for $400. I was able to do the repair (after watching 1 youtube video) in 5 hours. These are supposed to be BMW experts. How can they quote 16+ hours for a job (they claim to be experts), that an untrained person could do (with just amature garage tools) in 5 hours? Does this actually work? Do people actually pay them these fees?
