Vérifié ClientAndrew, while we definitely understand the frustration, we are contracted with law enforcement along with other tow companies in the area and each agency sets their own rates for the tows, which we have to abide by per our contract. The only reason I can think they would have made you cancel the tow you called in would be if the vehicle was in the street and was or would be a hazard being in traffic. If the tow company you called wouldn't get there in time, or they need it moved more quickly, law enforcement officers call in and their calls take precedence. Its unfortunate for us to receive a bad review, when we were called out by dispatch and just doing what we're asked as a contracted company. I would definitely suggest getting with your insurance company for reimbursement, which they should do, if thats who you were attempting to go through for your original tow. In the case they do, they may need additional information or a different invoice type, if so you can reach out to Ashley at 785-272-8451 and she can help with that. Again, we do get that its frustrating, even when a car just breaks down, however in this case we are just "the messenger" doing our jobs. Glad you all are safe and no one was hurt. Thank you!
