David, I'm sorry you had a negative experience at our shop. It seems the cause of your a/c compressor failure may not have been clearly communicated to you. When you arrived on Monday, July 14th we did not find any fault with your water pump pulley, water pump or belt tensioner. We found that your a/c compressor failed internally and the compressor clutch was smoking due to the compressor being locked up. We replaced your a/c compressor, receiver dryer and expansion valve. We then flushed the a/c system and recharged it with refrigerant. 

When you originally brought the vehicle to us on 10/28/2024 we found the belt tensioner bolt was snapped off inside the engine due to the water pump failure. We replaced the water pump and tensioner and installed an aftermarket bolt into the tensioner due to a lack of availabilty through the dealer. On 03/17/2025 you returned because the bolt we use sheared off again, causing the tensioner to fall off. We found no faults with the water pump or water pump pulley at that time, and warrantied out the tensioner and replaced the bolt with an OEM factory bolt to prevent further issues. We have seen no issues with the water pump, water pump pulley, or drive belt tensioner since we repaired it under warranty in March. Therefore we have no reason to belive the work done prior caused this component to fail. If you have any questions or would like more clarification please don't hesitate to reach out.
