We never required repair of our 2005 Pontiac so now with a few problems we had no idea where to go. With auto service providers almost next door to each other, like fast food places, it would have been hard to choose had we not overheard D Boys recommended on 2 separate independent occasions in the past. Once from a taxi driver and another at the Viera VA outpatient clinic. Both were talking about their own cars. So with a battery needing to be jumped several times a day and an A/C problem we called D Boys and made an appointment. Actually it was good news they require an appointment. LIke a good restaurant when you need a reservation it can signify they are popular and busy. Rather than being required to drop it off early in the morning. we were given a choice of available times the very next day. Within a couple of hours we were called that the car required a new battery and got the price and the battery warranty coverage. The next day we were called that the car was ready and A/C was done and all it needed was a part called a Schrader valve in order to charge it with required gas. When we picked it up a gentlemen came out of the office and actually showed us the valve and explained the repair and all was working. He was professional and and courteous. ( A month earlier while the car was on loan to our friend they were told the A/C compressor was about to go out and with parts and labor the cost would be well over $1000.) We were expecting a costly bill when we picked the car up. Other shops would have perhaps replaced or pretended to have replaced the A/C system. Who knows? It happens. Whether it is just an oil change, tire rotation or another problem requiring repair we will go back to D Boys. We have already told many people about this experience with D Boys and hope word of mouth brings them new customers. They also do regular maintenance.
