I trusted Cruz Automotive based on a recommendation from a coworker who had previously used them. Unfortunately, I can honestly say that I would **not recommend Cruz Automotive to anyone based on my experience.
I brought my 2020 Jeep Gladiator to Cruz Automotive after experiencing ongoing issues and multiple diagnoses. Over the course of approximately a year, I spent over $6,000 on repairs that I was told would resolve the problem. The same issue was supposedly repaired more than once, including an engine overhaul.
When I picked up my vehicle for the final time in February 2026, the same diagnostic codes and problems returned within 24 hours. I was told I needed to drive approximately 600 miles before everything would register properly. I gave it that opportunity, but the problem was still not resolved.
Since June, I have repeatedly tried contacting Moses to discuss the situation. Calls and messages have gone unanswered. When I did manage to speak with him previously, I was assured that I needed to give the vehicle more time. At this point, I have given more than enough time and opportunities for Cruz Automotive to make this right.
My Jeep is now at another repair shop, torn apart and being diagnosed again for the same problem I already paid Cruz Automotive thousands of dollars to fix. I am now facing an additional $2,400 repair bill just to get my vehicle properly running.
I am a single mother with two young children, and I depend on my vehicle. Spending more than $6,000 on repairs that did not resolve the problem—and then being forced to pay another mechanic another $2,400—is unacceptable.
What has been just as disappointing as the repairs is the lack of communication and professionalism. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a business for answers, especially after spending thousands of dollars.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering Cruz Automotive to do your research and get a second opinion before spending your money. My experience has left me with significant expenses, an unreliable vehicle, and absolutely no confidence in the work that was performed.
I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and documenting the repairs, invoices, communications, and additional costs I have incurred. If this cannot be resolved respectfully, I am prepared to explore my legal options.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cruz Automotive.
