If you plan on buying a car. Don't go to Crown Hyundai/Genesis. I bought 4 cars from them over the years and they used to be good.
Then something changed. After regular service I was told that the chrome that faded was covered under warranty and I would receive a call when the parts are in. That was more than 3 months ago.
Now, I have called them more than 8 times over the last 3 months about warranty/recall issues and I was told that I would get a call back the next day or within 2 hours. Nothing. Not a single call back.
I did get a call from them about buying my car because it is well kept and has very low mileage but they sure weren't interested in me after I told them I had no plans on selling it at the time. Still no calls from them about my warranty for the chrome and nothing about the recall on the Anti-Lock Brake System that can catch fire. Now my 3 years has passed since I bought the car because of their delays.
Also There seems to be no retrofit available since the 3G network is being shut down. Oh sure they will give you a code for a whopping $1000.00 towards the purchase of a new Genesis which will cost a bunch of money. How about investing that $1000.00 and changing the transponder or modem to 5G capable and keep loyal customers. I guess they don't need customer satisfaction any longer (Sell the car and watch it drive off of the lot then forget about it and the customer seems to be their motto). I am not a happy customer and all of my friends will hear about it.
