Unprofetional
AVOID THIS PLACE!
I took my dodge dakota for rebuild the transition .
Them start working on it before i said ok.
I never got a call when it was ready!
When i went to get my truck didn't start! well we jump started and was good to go, next day was the same i had to jump start again!
It cost me a brand new battery before i realize the broke a wire and run it direct to a hot wire!
Jimmy shield keeps avoiding to fix a wire and a check up he supposed to do on my transmisión,
Keep pushing forward every time i take my truck !
Also didn't get any invoice,
UNPROFESSIONAL! IRRESPONSABLE ! LIAR.
You have a lot of time and money to waste?
Thats the right place!

Great Service
Because I was so pleased with my first experience at Cream ridge Transmission, I again took my 1950 classic Chevy pick up truck to them for a complete custom exhaust system. Jimmy and his team created an awesome custom exhaust that sound great, makes my truck run better, and is a pleasure to drive compared to when I brought it in to them. In addition they did a few small little items like adjusting shift points, painting exhaust tips, and a few others that made the experience all that much more pleasant for me. I again recommend these guys to anyone considering having work done there. Cream Ridge Transmissions is a class act in my book and I will continue to do business with them in the future.

Amazing Service!

Excellent work with professional results
Jimmy rebuilt the transmission in my 1950 Chevy Classic truck. What I appreciated most was that Jimmy made sure I was happy with everything he did which made me very comfortable in doing business with him. I took my 2005 ram 1500 pick up to cream Ridge for missions the check engine light was on and I had a major oil leak from the engine they excepted my aftermarket warranty they handle all arrangements and only charge me my $200 deductible as per required by warranty but most of all they took the time to really explain to me what had to be doneAnd it was probably the most hassle free repair service I ever had

JIMMY SHIELDS RIP OFF
Jim pretends to be a real business man. He does not warranty his work. He works out of many different shops throughout NJ. He was employed at MJ Auto (Rte. one) in South Brunswick. He no longer is there. Be careful. He lies about what he is going to do. NEVER rebuilts your trans. He only patches it together. Since he is a traveling mechanic he has no real building where he works. So you never know how or where to find him. He does not return call...I stopped by his house one day to do follow up on a repair he did...transmission does not have reverse. Jim was crawling around in the dark. He was hidding.....Nice way to do business....DO NOT do business with him....Oddly he wants CASH ONLY. if you pay by check he runs to the bank and cashes it within minutes of getting it. He provides only a hand written invoice.

Transmission Repair by a professional who spends time with the customer, as needed.
Jim Shields completed a transmission repair on my 2006AWD GMC Denali, Sierra 1500, four door pick-up. All work was completed in a neat workmanlike manner, and I received a call after five days to ask if the truck was operating well. The work is guaranteed for 3 years or 50k miles. The man is a professional, I am glad I found out about him. The price quoted was the price I paid.

Avoid this place if you need car repairs...
This place is a complete scam. I was hosed on the repairs that were done to my car. At 11 months the muffler that was installed broke, and then at 14 months all the brakes that were replaced were metal on metal. They even charged me for an oil change and a cabin air filter that I never authorized. The oil was changed 4 days prior at Mavis, and there was a sticker on the windshield with the mileage and date for the next oil change. Don't go to this place unless you like to pay for shoddy work.
I believe that most shops are honest and want to do good work but Cream Ridge Transmission is not one of them.
