I feel the Ciocca Promise is more bait and switch than anything. One of the reasons I purchased my 2nd Subaru Crosstrek from Ciocca was because of this promise.
My vehicle was scratched and needed repair. This falls under comprehensive and my deductible is $250. If you take the vehicle to Ciocca Collision, the Ciocca Promise waives the deductible. I should have had NO OUT-OF-POCKET expense. When I went to pick up the car, the lady at the desk charged me $250. She told me the Ciocca Promise was only good for and animal hitting my car! Seriously, are you kidding me?
I even called to "confirm" the deductible would be waived prior to scheduling the appointment. I was told YES, the deductible would be waived up to $500 AND they knew the exact damage that was done to the car!
