Disgusting & Dishonest
My granddaughter was looking to purchase her first car, she couldn’t find anything local due to the shortage of vehicles. After searching the internet she found a new Hyundai Elantra at Carmack with the sale price listed at MSRP. We called the dealer and the salesman confirmed the price was correct three different times and it was on the lot. We said we would be there In a hour and a half (approximately 75 miles away from home). After arriving and test driving the car she was excited and ready to complete the purchase. One of the sales managers (Brandon) came over and told us the price was $2500 over the sale (MSRP) price. Trying to take advantage of a single 20 year old girl when they knew she was excited to get her first car. After a heated discussion and them knowing the salesman had confirmed the price which was on their own website, the sales manager agreed to go ahead and sell at the MSRP listing price. Then after going through all that we were told she would qualify for Hyundai $500 college graduation rebate. In order to qualify you have to graduate within six months of the deal and she graduates this spring. Now it’s getting late and after going through the finance department and ready to go home, they find out the car has not been through pre delivery inspection. PDI should be completed before the car is put on the lot for sale. After waiting over a hour my granddaughter is finally able to drive her new car home. The next day we find out they won’t honor the $500 rebate. I spoke to John who is also a sales manager, and I have never had a more disrespectful, dishonest and cringe worthy conversation with another human being in my life!
I have filed a complaint with Hyundai and others.
By the way this dealership is a hell hole.
