I have a new 2026 Tucson Hybrid Limited I bought earlier this year. My wife really likes the car. However I’ve taken it in for three recalls thus far. The first recall I dropped it off early in the morning and they provided a loaner car which was nice since they said it would take all day.
The second recall I waited in the queue line for 25 minutes before the advisor got to me although I had an appointment. Again they provided a loaner car.
The third recall visit was different, advisor took all my information said it would be a couple of days then proceeded to tell me he doesn’t have a loaner car, now I’m 40 minutes from home , there’s no shuttle and the advisor says rental car is my option and they could run me over there. So after two days I tried calling and texting the advisor to find out if my vehicle is ready and no answer..
So I had the rental over the weekend including the Labor Day Monday and now I’m out 250.00 dollars.
I had to call early on Tuesday morning and finally was able to pick up my car.
I tried to call service manager for three weeks with phone calls, emails and no answer again. I finally called the service manager , manager and the following day I was able to get in touch with the service manager, absolutely no result or offer to pay for rental car expenses.
You should not have to pay for a rental car for a recall due to manufacturer recall.
Poor service and very disappointed in this dealership. The sales department was very good but if your getting your car serviced go to a different dealer.
