Transmission Flush
I was told by Terry and Terry when I called in to the "Under The Hood" radio program that my job could be done for a 2 labor rate, as I as providing all of the needed materials. Called the San Antonio shop to confirm same, and after some back and forth discussion, we came to an agreement on the 2 hour rate. We set the appointment for 2 days hence, and upon arrival at 7:05 am ( I drove 120 miles to get there), I was met with attempts to upcharge the job another hour. It was only after threatening to walk out because of the deceptive treatment that I had been given that a new price was quoted and agreed upon. Still, it was $18 above what it should have been.
I am not pleased with the transactional disconnect between the shop, the customer, and the radio program. I hope that you can correct this for future customers.
The work performed was acceptable, although it seemed to take longer than necessary ( 4 hours).

I appreciated the attentiveness to my problem. Counter staff was superb. Got me in and out at the time they promised.
Great customer service. Kept me informed of the status of the work. Very satisfied with the quality of their work. Will continue to return to them when the need arises.

Kevin said they couldn't do anything to help him, using third party extend warranty they refused to pay. They did what they could do, they sent the information to the warranty people. He stated that it wasn't Edwin, he was forthcoming with what they couldn't do, needed to do, let him know what they need to look at, need to send in to warranty people, kept him in the loop and the fault was not theirs.

A/C repair when needed most!
I travel for business and use Cambridge when I'm in town. I called from Temple with an a/c issue (not blowing cold). 2 1/2 hours later Edwin checked me in. Edwin is the service writer but has functioned as a mechanic in the past. Edwin inserted dye in the system, found my leak, showed me the leak, generated a quote, ordered the part and repaired my vehicle himself because his techs were on other jobs! I was out right at closing time. Unbelievable service from Edwin!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service
Cambridge is my go to. Consistently good service. Worked with Anthony this time. Good guy. Appreciate how mechanic looks beyond the problem and gives realistic advice on other things noticed. No pressure and no "pile on" bs.

Very professional
Had an issue with my GMC and they were spot on with the diagnosis. Also made another recommendation that I had already decided would be good to do but they weren’t pushy about it. Anthony was great!
