This place is truly horrible and bad service
Please do not take your car here. My girlfriend was a personal friend of this guy, Preston Callahan, who owns this shop. Her car broke down with transmission problems. He told her over the phone that he would take the car and do diagnostics for free. Then I called him and he told me the same over the phone that it would be free to look at. Well we tow it to his shop and he tears the whole transmission apart. It took 7 days to look at. I call him on the 6th day and he said it would be between $800 and $1300, which is quite a range, but it wouldn't be more than this. He comes back 2 days later and says it will cost $1500. I then told my girlfriend to call him and have him put the car together we are not doing it as the car is worthless and not worth even the repair. He then tells us we need to pay a $175 diagnostic fee after he said it was free. Just because he knows we are in a bind. So here I'm stuck because he will put a mechanics lean on the car and take it otherwise. Then my girlfriend went down there and he has told her to pay off her title loan and give him the title and he will fix the car and sell it for $2000 and give us $300 of it. Is he nuts? I am not giving him the title without seeing any money. I guess I am stuck paying the fee to get the car outta there. At least I won't have to put up with him any longer. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through this. He is scamming us just to make money.
