Excellent experience all around
I brought my SUV in about a driver's side rear brake light that was going on and off. Couldn't figure out what was going on. This was my first time working with Buchanan's. Dropped the car off, heard back within the hour that they'd found a pinched wire and fixed it. Cost was such a pleasant surprise (so much more affordable than I'd anticipated). Communication was clear and efficient. Customer service was direct and friendly. No exaggeration, one of the best experiences I've had with car care anywhere. Really appreciate them, their work, and how they do business.

Trust and Expertise
My Volvo dealership was unable to correctly diagnose and correct issues on several occasions. I brought my car here and they figured out the issues and corrected. It is peace of mind that when I am told my car needs a service it really needs the service and not a big up sale .

Quick but Not Thorough
I had serious oil leakage and took it here as it was the closest to my house. First diagnosis was a rear seal failure ($1900), which I just had my transmission replaced and this was confirmed good so I had my transmission mechanic take a look. He diagnosed a different issue with the pressure gauge failure and another item and communicated that to Buchanan. This fix was $900, so glad I got a second look. The fix was really quick and ready the next day. But when I picked it up, a check engine light was on and the car didn't make it a block....they forgot to connect a hose.

If you want quick work this is the place. If you want it done right the first time, I'd look elsewhere.

Oil Change
Went to take my car in to get my oil changed as the milage was over 1,000 miles from the recommended milage of when it should be serviced again. I wanted to get it done ASAP.

Arrived at the service center around 8 AM as that is when I was told the previous day that they start. I knew I was going to have to leave it there as there were other cars in the lot. To help try to have them finish my car ASAP, I told them two things aside from wanting my oil changed:

- No car wash
- No vacuuming

Essentially, I just wanted them to bring my car into the building, change the oil, go park it somewhere, then call me to come pick up my car. That is it.

It took them almost 10 hours to get to my car and have it serviced, which would have only taken them probably 30 minutes or less to do it.

When I finally got my car after receiving the service, I noticed that they had vacuumed my car, which was one of the things I I specifically asked to not have done. This kind of irked me as that I could have received my car sooner if they would have done what I asked and not vacuumed. I know there are people wondering why I am getting upset about something about that right now. It is the principle of the matter where if you ask for something not to be done, don't do it. Aside from that and the near 10 hours I had to wait, everything else got done. You would think they would go and dwork on the cars.that could be done rather quickly.

Car in for oil change
Got my car in before 8am and was able to wait for it. They were done in less than an hour! Always polite and friendly, and always great service. I've been taking my cars here since the early 1980s and have never had bad service. Only use Buchanan's for gas and for the service.

New favorite service station
I have a 2011 Jeep, and it’s been stalling. This is my first time coming here, but it’s very close to my house. I really appreciate it that they would not do any repair work until they could get the Jeep to stall for them so they could figure out what was wrong instead of just guessing. The price was quite reasonable, and they even charged less than they quoted me.

Great service
Buchanan’s is a wonderful center. I trust the technicians and know that they are there to ensure my car runs and not to upsell me. I took my vehicle to the dealership for 3 years after I purchased it and didn’t feel the customer service I get at Buchanans after 1 visit.

Great service every time
The service department at Buchanans on 50th and Dodge has seamlessly moved through the change of ownership, and the retirement of long time service manager Carl. It's still a great place to take your car for service.

Always top notch service and professionalism. Always correct on what other service they recommend for my vehicles.
They have always done the job correctly the first time and for a reasonable price.
