Joey got his guys to diagnose the issues, made a plan, costed it out for my approval, had parts en route within minutes, and managed to put as many as three guys on the job whenever possible, triaging work around the rest of the full and busy shop like a movie director.
Despite the fact that the team is reportedly new in this location, their coordination and mission orientation were exemplary and impressive. During the 2-or-so hours it took to get my car back on the road safely, the team also helped out two other walk-ins while keeping their pre-booked jobs moving along at a good clip.
Even when Joey was busy helping other customers on the phone, his guys talked to each other, problem-solved and implemented. It was almost as if the entire crew wanted their business to succeed!
The job, while definitely not cheap due to the amount of work required, was priced very reasonably and saved me a ton money, which my non-Joey contingency plans were otherwise threatening to cost… not to mention the hours of trouble and aftermath cleanup and enormous inconvenience these contingency plans would have caused. My attempt to share a portion of my savings with the team was met with humble reluctance, but eventually implemented with 100% transparency for all involved.
I drove away feeling as though I’d actually had a good day! … which, in its own way, I suppose I really did, since my experience at Briarwood Automotives more than made up for the disaster from which the team there saved me.
