Deceptive

These chimps towed my car after the town declared a parking ban. I called the police to find out where my car was. I found out Blue Star had it. I called and " Anthony" answered. He told how much to bring and when to bring it. So, I did.
What he didn't tell me was that Blue Star wiped out my front end. The car isn't safe to drive. I had AAA bring me home.
The kid that retrieved my car from the cage was quite amused when I told him the car was damaged. He called " the boss " and " the boss "
said " we'll fix it ".
These chimps actually believe I'd trust them to fix my car. They can't even tow a car without damaging it.
Beware of Blue Star Towing.

Saved My A$$ Twice

This is going to be a book but these guys went above. Bought a truck Sat and decided to go out with the family to celebrate. Sure enough truck wont start when I go out to leave. Called AAA and they told me to pound sand because it didn't have plates (had bill of sale, title, proof of insurance) but nope they said T.S. Asked good old Facebook and 2 people said Blue Sun. So later that night I call and they said NP well be there in 20. Sure enough 20 min later there they are. Drive gets out ( and man I am so sorry I forgot your name, saw you twice and still forgot it!! too much going on ha-ha) comes over and starts trying to diagnose the issue for me, figures it out gets me going. Replaced starter myself tested, all good, decide sure go out with son to go grocery shopping, maybe get some ice-cream. Go to head home from ice cream and sure enough no crank. Couldn't for the life of me remember these guys' name ( clearly an issue) so decided to call another company..... 5 calls and 2 hrs later I cancel them ( said they'd be 20 min each time) I finally remember blue sun! Call and within 15 min same gentleman pulls up next to my car talks through the issue and again tries to fix my truck! and then is again able to get me started and on my way. These guys care about people, not just customers!

Exceptional Electric Vehicle Geniuses

These guys are true professionals! My BMW i3 went completely dead. Anyone who owns an electric vehicle understands that if your 12v battery dies then your luxury vehicle becomes a glorified two-ton paperweight. This recovery was truly nearly impossible. The placement of the vehicle and the state of the vehicle were all huge issues. Even BMW Roadside assistance refused to assist with the recovery of my vehicle after six other local companies rejected the job. Blue Son Towing are the ONLY PROFESSIONALS in Rhode Island that have the intelligence, speed, and skill to effectively recover electric vehicles. They arrived on the scene and thirty minutes later they successfully loaded the vehicle on the flatbed to take it to the dealership. Words can not express how thankful I am for them. Truly the best vehicle recovery service in the entire state maybe even the entire New England area. Save the time, and call the Pros!

Impressive service

I am beyond impressed with this place. My 8-year-old and I went to the store this morning. As we were returning, I noticed a flat tire on my car. Of course! Perfect time, right? I googled the closest auto repair, Blue Son Autobody was the place I could make it on my flat tire. When I got there, I got help right away. They fixed it within 15 minutes and DID NOT CHARGE me a dime. They said I am all set and Merry Christmas. WOW, what great service. Kind and very attentive staff! I am going to be back there for sure!

Scam artists

So I had gotten into an accident about a month ago somebody had backed up into my car and after searching high and low for a good place to bring it to get fixed I stumbled upon this place, brought my car in the process with insurance was simple and easy and they tossed me into a rental car that day and I was on my way, 2 and a half weeks later I pick up my car drop the rental off. Upon one of the workers inspection of the rental vehicle they stated they only saw damages on the roof of the car which of I was unaware of, I took just as good of care to that rental as I would my own vehicle I’m a big car guy. Needless to say they told me they had to contact my insurance for the damages, while at the shop a worker was on the phone with my insurance company stating to them they only found damages on the roof of the car THEY LOOKED ALL AROUND THE CAR AND FULLY INSPECTED IT WHILE I WAS OUT THERE WITH THEM!!!! EVEN HAD 2 OTHER PEOPLE LOOK AT THE VEHICLE and not one said anything about scratches anywhere else but the roof. fast forward to about a week and a half later I get a call from my insurance company and they tell me this place claimed for damages all around the vehicle behind my back when they had me sign an insurance agreement stating they were only going to file for damages to the roof. Now this is costing my insurance company over $5k worth of damage. Put my age into effect and it almost seems like they’re just trying to get a free paint job off me for their vehicle. I’m absolutely appalled by their service and will never return, they had told me over the phone oh we would feel better if you came in and saw the vehicle and the pictures as if that will do anything... I know for sure it doesn’t cost over $5k for some scratches but these places get to do whatever they please as long as it’s for the money. Between fixing my car and now the rental they made over $10k off insurance company’s just from me going there. I will definitely not be recommending this place to anybody. Terrible place to go

Saviors in a Pinch

When another Rhode Island based company left me in the dust and my vehicle stranded, my insurance company got me connected with Blue Suns. Within 5 minutes I was on the phone with a dispatcher who gave me a 45 minute ETA, they did it in 20. They made the drive in minimal time and got my Supra back home. Big ups on their quick response and friendly and helpful serviceman and dispatcher. I even got a call making sure everything was squared away even after the driver left.

Work is done efficiently and timely

I have used this service for over 10 years and am told when something is wrong with my vehicle and the recommended remedy. An appointment is made and work proceeds on time. I have always been satisfied with the work done. An estimate is always given before work proceeds. I have never had to bring my car back because the remedy was not met.

Great service!

Anthony was very responsive to our situation - we were on our way to Boston on a Saturday morning and our car battery was dead. We got the car started and drove to Blue Sun, where Anothony’s team replaced the battery, changed the oil (didn’t realize it was due), and had us on our way in time. He was even waiting out in the parking lot by the car to help us get out quickly. Excellent service, highly recommended!
