A lot can change in a short time. I’ve got a 2012! BMW that has been sitting in the same spot since May 7th. Told me a blown head gasket without even diagnosing said $4500 before he starts the work. May 21st Mr. Blackmore showed his true colors. Since he hadn’t even started the work I decided to take the car elsewhere. Come to find out I didn’t have a blown head gasket. I had an electric water pump malfunction pricing the total amount with diagnosis. $1688. I went back to show him the ticket and for the 2nd time in a day Mr Blackmore got in my face calling me all sorts of names some borderline derogatory. Calling me “BOY” and yes in the racist way, falling just short of calling me a “Nig*er” as the former property manager next door being called that caused a lot of issues with the others. I thought Mr Blackmore and I were friends I’d help him out when I could as he would me. And I’d a gone along with paying the 4500 if he’d been able to work with me as I would work with him typically I’d pay him fully before starting any job on my cars. This one time he couldn’t overlook my situation and be a friend. He decided to chops business over friendship. I could have paid him the 4500 over the course of a month but he wanted it all at once thus losing out on anymore business. I had turned down multiple jobs due to no transportation for over 3wks as my car was just sitting there. It was then done in 1 day where I ended up taking it to. I hope Steve reads this and understands my frustration but he will lose more business as there were multiple witnesses and business owners.
