Posted to Big3Engines Review board around March 2025.
It's been miraculously removed.
If it were possible to make this zero stars, I would.
You threatened me and my family saying you would roll up to my home because you know where I live. You're the one that caused all of this.
I've been polite and patient waiting for any type of communication from Joe Maddox regarding my vehicle. It's been in the field beside his shop since December 23. It hasn't moved an inch. I seriously doubt any of his "techs" have opened the hood on it. This is one of those "what did you learn" situations. I learned that when an individual almost refuses to communicate with you, it's a bad sign. I learned that you don't just hand someone 3k hoping they're a decent person and mechanic because they have a storefront. Thank God I didn't pay him the total of 6k in advance. I may never see a partial or whole refund. But if I can make it where no one else has to deal with this type of treatment......
Nothing has been done to my vehicle. It's insulting to be treated this way. There is no justification for the lack of communication. I had to drive 2 hours to his shop just to see if my truck was even there. While standing in his shop, he continued to work on a truck while barely speaking to me. He went as far as to say that the one he was working on was a better paying job and mine would require several trips in and out of the shop to get it working right.
Him firing his one tech that could work on older vehicles is not my problem. Him not wanting to do the job because there isn't enough money in it for him isn't my problem. Claiming to have 3 jobs(aside from working on vehicles) and about to start working a 4th is not my problem. You have overloaded yourself it seems.
He agreed to a time, price, and job scope. Removal of old engine and replacing it with a rebuilt engine. Replacing the fuel assembly in the gas tank. None of this has been done. None of it. Save yourself a bit of time and problems and find another shop.
