Scammy policies
I ordered 6 items from their Yamaha PartsHouse area. They shipped 4 and charged me an additional $5 for the shipping of only 1/2 of my items. I called and was told that my other items were on back order and would be shipped when they get them. I asked about the discrepancy in shipping costs and was told it was “insurance “ that I had to opt out of? That’s BS. If I’m being charged for something it should be an opt in AND be on my receipt. I would never agree to $5 on a $10 dollar order. My original receipt says nothing about the extra $5. Still waiting on the other parts. We shall see what else is going to happen if I ever get my parts. Watch yourself when ordering from them they will charge more than you agree to pay by sliding it under the radar. At $5 an order that could be hundreds of thousands of dollars for unnecessary insurance.

Quick to Charge you
They charge your credit card even if they don’t have the item in stock and not tell you anything. Was told item was on back order for at least a month mean while I’m waiting for weeks so I finally reach out and was told oh sorry. You shouldn’t charge people unless you know you have what they want

Way over charged.
I went in about two weeks ago. I wanted them to lube oil filter. I also needed a bolt replaced. My bill was 150.00 plus. I asked what the exorbitant charge. I was told I was paid for silver service and I actually furnished the oil and filter. When I went to pay I checked the lube job, it.

Not what they promise!!
Around 3 years ago, I used them all the time. Now, you are risking what everyone else is saying. Poor inventory, poor communication, poor shipping estimates and a could care less about your problems mentality!

Poor service
Good day guys
So I called Babbitts for a part that I needed, the person looked up the part and verified that it would fit the side by side I was working on. She informed to that I needed to use the website to order. So I did, after 5 days it still showed processing so I went on there chat window and Shawn was my chat person. He stated that the part was discontinued and that I should have called first. I informed him that I did, he stated that a refund will be sent. I asked him why did I have to chat to find this out, he’s reply was “ once again you should have called”. Wow today’s service.

Masters at run arounding you
I placed order for generator part on 1/14/24. I received order number and my credit card was charged that day. I did not receive a shipping notice so I called them on 1/16 and was told they were waiting on delivery of my part from Yamaha, expected in 2 days. On 1/19 I received a email from Babbit telling me the item was shipped and giving me a USPS tracking number . For over a week, I checked the tracking number and it only said a mailing label had been created. I called Babbit and was told USPS picked it up and did not scan it in. On 1/29 I received an email saying my order had been shipped and it gave me a different tracking number from the one I was given in the 1/19 email. I called Babbit and was told my problems were all due to USPS and "out of their hands". I reminded him that my money had been in their hands for over two weeks. If USPS tracking continues to only show nothing other than "label created" tomorrow, I will proceed with having my credit card company get a refund of their improper charge. No seller should charge you for an out of stock item.

Horrible website. Buyer beware.
Placed an order with them in which the website stated that it would ship in 1-4 business days. Fast forward a month and the item finally ships. Of course they mail it through USPS and the slowest way possible. Well, 5 days ago USPS claimed that it was delivered. So I call up Babbit's and let them know. Their response? We can order you another one... Like I would want to wait another month and a half to try again. Yea, no thanks. No communication with me at all, not even to tell me it was delayed. Terrible customer service.

Bought two new ninjas motorcycles
Too long of a story, read it in my Google review spent a lot of money there got pushed by Jared Babbitt and kicked out of the joint. Somehow one of my motorcycles got a dent in the gas tank. I wanted to see the cameras he got mad gave me a shove, kicked me out of the place forever, so the bikes are no good to me no place to buy parts no place to get them serviced already lost $2000 on the 400. I think I should get a full refund on my 636.

Babbitt’s has NOT demonstrated to me that it is a business of integrity
I ordered and paid for a part for my boat at a greatly inflated cost, but they clearly says shipping in 2-4 business days and other places were saying delivery would take weeks. I then proceed to check out and it says a delivery window of 8 days - but OK it’s July 4 week so I am ok with that.

I ring today and told they don’t have the part, they have no idea when they may get the part and all delivery timelines are ‘estimated’. They said they couldn’t even order the part as its on backorder.

They clearly state 2-4 business days in their website today and when I ordered for this part. Babbitt’s from my experience is demonstrating it has no integrity. It advertised it had the part then takes your money - this is false advertising and basically wants me to loan them money to sit in their bank accounts with. To add insult to injury they then won’t refund for 7 days.

No communication
There is no communication from these folks. I only knew my order was received by checking my bank account. My order arrived out of the blue...only half !!
I have no idea if the other part is on backorder or not. I have not called them.
This is the second time this has happened. I'm done with Blabbits.

Lesson learned
Ordered four tires that they said were in stock. 3 weeks later I get shipping notice. Only one tire shows up. When I asked about the other 3, only response was “sorry, we will send the other three as soon as possible”.

Parts are not in stock- they are just available to order
Their business model is not customer friendly or ethical. My parts were to arrive during a certain window. Called to see where they were when deadline passed. Was told that when I place my order, they order the parts from yanaha. Definitely not told tgat at order time. Customer service email doesn’t eork.

Best Customer service
I placed orders for most every part of my rear suspension and frame parts as the previous owner had used this ATV for a fertilizer dispenser vehicle and most of the rear of the vehicle was severely damaged. . I received all but a rear lower control arm which is back ordered. I called the customer service department and received a most courteous lady that tracked all my back ordered parts and gave me a verbal as well as an email update on them. I received all the parts as she had stated to me. All the parts were received by me as promised even to the smallest lock washer and nut! I am a very satisfied customer and will certainly use Babbitts for all my future ATV parts needs.
