I take it in for just a safety check about every six months so I feel secure on the road.. This time they discovered my tire had plenty of tread.
To me they looked fine, but they are a bit old and had dry rot.
They could explode at anytime.
I went back to where I purchased them.
I did not know there is a date in all tires.
Thanks to Dale, I proved to them that they sold me 2 year old tires.
