Thankfully we went our direction against the advice of the "coaches" who offered old school sales tactics that customers in this industry are completely sick of. We lost customers because of them and because we made the good decision to let the clock run out on our subscription, we've had record months, with record profitability and efficiency. Coaches were lacking critical thinking completely and didn't have simple understanding of strategy outside of their training manual regurgitation. Not once was any of our reasons to seek their coaching addressed, even after bringing up multiple times, and always went back to their sales tactics which I'm sure work in certain markets still and for owners that are completely lost.
The classes are in the dead middle of the work day so you have to balance out the loss of days of production from any employee that participates in a class. It probably evens out sometimes based on the value, which some classes do have a good amount of. The marketing and advertising is stone age and outdated, and again went our way and against their way that was taking up a lot of time, and getting very little return. Basically, because we went against their advice, which is extremely outdated, and lacks critical thinking and basic understanding of business and strategic principles, we are having record months and record efficiency.
I would bet that this company regresses over the next decade. Some shops will continue to thrive but most will also slowly regress with them and they'll slowly die as a business over time unless they adapt.
