I had a windshield replaced through an insurance claim and since then it had made a rattling noise in cold weather and at higher speeds. I had gone to the dealer 4 times for complete inspection to narrow it down to a faulty installed windshield. They replaced it this week as a warranty fix, and that noise has stopped. In the process somehow damaged my wiper arm on my 2014 Accord. The car was fine previously (worked in rain the day before just fine) and was garaged from the time the tech left until I took it out in rain again....the wiper was bent down so far the arm scraped against the glass. Now they are giving me hassles saying it's impossible for them to have done it. The arm has a scratch where it is obvious it was hit with something that was heavy enough to bend it down. Granted, one wipe is $86 dealer cost, but they are extremely reluctant to deal with it and are sending someone to "look" at it. It literally would cost more to do that than just order and send the arm for anyone to put on. The other issue is that a replaced arm would obviously be darker than the one replacing it due to natural weathering. What a total hassle. Time off work multiple times to deal with this. Trying to work with Violet there, but she is turning rather rude and defensive over an $86 wiper arm. If they come through, I will revise this. If this is still here...well...I can assure you that you need to go somewhere else.
