Won't be BACK
The work was fine. The price was not. Figured I would give this place a try. Gave me an estimate on replacing breaks. I contacted three other shops...four hundred more than the other shops wildest dreams of what it might cost. The two things that really threw me were...they said we needed a battery. I said, I bet we do on a seven year old car. So go ahead. HOW do you in good taste charge SIXTY SIX dollars to install a battery and 250 for the battery. ITS not the charge on the battery....its the 66 dollars to install it. Fifteen minutes equal 66 dollars. MOST places replace them with NO labor charge. These guys gave me an estimate on an oil leak....it was over 2k. I said not now. Took my car across the river to my old mechanic....did I mention I was trying to give these guys a shot at my business? They told me that basically they threw the book at everything that MIGHT be wrong. Instead of doing a couple of simple dye tests that would tell them. My guy that I used for years charged us 575 for this job plus he replaced two belts that I asked him to do ! Ok take the belts out of this....your 1500 to 1600 High? I cannot understand this....yeah I can. Everything I said here is the truth. I bet this will not make it onto your reviews. Btw....you got me once. It won't happen again.
