I am from Greenwood, IN. My fiancé and I were on vacation and after unforseen issues (P0299 error code engine light) we had to leave my car at a shop (Car Tune-Up Sarasota {FL}) for about 3 days (we didn't really HAVE to leave it but because we wanted to make sure it was safe to drive home). They called and said it needed a new wastegate actuator, so we left it there and had it 'fixed'. When we picked up the car, after paying them $717.84, it ran HORRIBLY. It was legitimately scary to drive but they said it was okay to do so and it would just "run a little rough", so we drove a bit and pulled off the side of the highway to Anything Auto Repair. They were fully booked but managed to get my car in and worked on it (from 1:30ish to after they closed around 6:30ish). They replaced all 4 of my ignition coils AND spark plugs, though they said it didn't end up fixing the problem. My fiancé and I before leaving even looked up U-hauls with trailors to drive it all the way home, ways to ship it back to our house, rental cars, called insurance to see if we could find a solution, etc. Hell a customer even offered for us to ride into town with them in their uber so we could find a hotel. But we decided to drive it to find a hotel (aka until the check engine light came on). However! It never came back on. We are going to be back home in an hour 4 minutes. WE ARE GOING TO BE HOME, WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IN 1 HOUR AND 4 MINUTES 😭😭😭. I cannot say thank you enough. God I wish you guys were local holy crow, you all have done SO much more for me than any mechanic local to me. I cannot truly express how thankful I am. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
