Unfortunate Situation
Overall, I can recommend this facility for repairs. In that regard, they did not let me down. However, when took my vehicle there in May, upon pickup, I noticed new scratches on the driver side door. I walked back to let the technician know, and he came out to inspect the scratches. Perplexed by it all, he wasn't sure where they had come from. He mentioned to bring it back so his boss (who was not there at the time) can take a look, and go from there. Three days later, I had brought it back and both Adam and Paulie inspected the scratches. Still uncertain how it happened, they both assured me it would be fixed at their expense. Paulie called in an order for the paint, and would touch base when he had it at the shop. A month went by with no contact. I reached out to Allied Automotive, inquiring about the paint. I was told they had it and were "meaning to give me a call." From there, I had set up an appointment to accommodate the person who comes in to do the paint job. It was scheduled for July. July comes around, I bring my car in. I called checking on the status of the car, and was notified their contact did not show up or answer their calls, so the scratches were not repaired. I picked up my car, and Paulie said he would be in contact with me again so we could finally get the problem fixed. It's now September, and I have heard nothing from anyone at Allied Automotive. I called them a week ago, and went in yesterday to pick up the paint and get the job done elsewhere. It's unfortunate that the situation was full of neglect and still unresolved, but I'd rather place my loyalty to a business that offers reliability rather than runarounds.
