Service department and warranty
If you see this, please know that it is for your best interest. Do not buy here or from their other locations. The service department does not care about your issues or concerns, and will keep you on the hook for as long as they can. I bought an Elantra in January, and during the floods here in town I hit a hot pole. I took my vehicle to the dealership to get the rim replaced under the warranty they provided. Was told in house in early April that they were “getting it submitted.” After 2 hours, the service department said the system had been down the whole time and that they’d keep me updated while they waited. Kacey, the department worker I started with, made promise after promise about keeping me updated on specific dates and never once contacted me. At the 2 week mark I called, was told they didn’t have an answer for me, asked to speak with the manager, he openly told me, and I have transcripts, “I don’t know what’s going on with this issue or warranty,” so I asked how is he the manager and not know about a major issue with their main warranty company? He told me that he has too much to worry about and this wasn’t a concern to him. Obviously upset, and now without a new car for 2 weeks, I asked about the consistent no calls and no updates. Kacey then said she never once told me she’d be in contact with me, I told her I have the transcripts from our phone calls and the “service manager” then said it didn’t matter what the dealership promised me and hung up because he wasn’t going to have this conversation with me. I called corporate, then magically the warranty was accepted and everyone tried calling me. It took 30 days to get a replacement rim and for them to service the tire. No compensation or anything, just an “I’m sorry it took so long.” I will never buy from Hyundai or Allen Samuels and I hope every new buyer reads this and decides to go to a different dealership and car company. They don't care about you, and won’t show it until you actually need help. Shame on this dealership and shame on Hyundai corporate, because they weren’t much help either. If I could go back to January after knowing what I know, I would’ve walked out and went to Ford, Nissan, or Chevy dealership to buy
