Extremely fair and honest
I have been going to Alan Rice for years with my old ranch trucks and he never fails to satisfy me with his excellent advice, service and workmanship. The cost of repairs has always been very fair. In fact, many times he will give me advice that allowed me to treat some issues on my own saving me hundreds of dollars. I can't say enough good things about this automotive service except anyone considering auto repairs should give Alan a call.

Car service
I made an appointment for service on my Mazda cx30. My wife called the dealer first and received a quote of over $400 to replace the brake fluid, cabin and air filters due to the age of these items. Alan Rice Repair inspected and tested these items and found that the fluid was still good but the filters needed changing. They fully inspected the car, reset the warning signs indicating it needed servicing and charged @$70 while explaining what they did. I find them very capable, honestly and friendly and I will take to take my cars to them in the future.

Excellence as always
Alan fixed my engine light on problem that kept me from smog checking my Toyota. Turns out it as a strange part I had never heard of. This was creating a nightmare for me until Alan reassured me that the problem could bec wsily fixed.

Keeps my car EXCELLENT
Alan and his team are the very best! I recently had a tire sound issue resolved and an oil change. Then I noticed that my window fluids worked again.

It's needed replacement for a while and other places haven't helped even with request, he didn't even mention it, just fixed it! My cars run great whenever I live in Santa Cruz and have Alan Rice.
