this place is a joke. 3,300 dollars later and my transmission is slow to shift and they charged me an additional 540 dollars for an engine seal that they never put in plus i had to call the kingman police to get my vehicle and bob the owner stole my cellphone. i posted the video on youtube under advanced transmission bob the phone theif. so all i got was a 170 dollar transmission oil pump foe 3,300 dollars. i hope this place goes out of business. one of these days bob is going to ripp off the wrong person. and now my engine pumps out oil.

way way overpriced.
i was charged 2,300 for a transmission rebuild. on a 1996 lincoln towncar. and one of the employees came clean with me and told me that all i got was a 179 dollar transmission oil pump. when i paid for a full rebuild. i was also charged an additional 540 dollars when i picked up my car plus i had to call the cops on bob the owner cause he stole my cellphone, witch i put the video on youtube. titled advanced transmission bob the cellphone theif. they also blocked me in while i was leaving after i way over paid . they did all this in front of the cop. so this place desreves to go out of business. now my engine leaks oil when i drive and i never got my engine oil seal. plus i supplied the oil transmission fluid and fl820s oil filter. plus my car bairley made it to the gas station 3 blocks away cause they used up all my gas. and now i have to repair my electrical plugs that they broke off on top of my transmission. there worse than baboons a monkey would of done a better job. and now my transmission takes a long time to shift. probabley cause it is my old transmission. do not go here. go elseware.

Do not go to advanced transmission.. Bob is a lair and a theif Nd he will steal from you and denie that he is a theif and a chronic liar. And he charges thousands of dollars over what other shops charge. And he dose not do the work I know iam a mencanic/ tech myself and he us an excessive crook to the extreme.

Bob at advance transmission will rob you and ripp you off. He charges thousands of doors above what the book says and calls for he is a liar and a theif. Do not go here. Advance transmission will rob you blind. And Bob the owner of advance transmission aka Robert wrum is a liar and a theif and has a big record. He is not redeemable. He charges customers thousand of dollors for work that other shops only charge hundreds for. Advance transmission are crooks and theives and they never do the work.

There word means nothing.
They did rebuild my transmission. However, they where suppose to replace my main engin oil seal . But they did not. So now they are charging me 540.00 for there messed when they where suppose to replace the seal while they had the trans out. Iam will to pay them 400 cause they messed up. But they will not budge. They are unreasonable.

Raciing Powerglide transmission work
About a year ago I had some work done on my powerglide racing transmission however the company that did it in Phoenix forgot to put in the shaft to shift it for my B & M floor shift. It was a holiday so they were closed but I was able to get hold of them and they arranged for me to drop it off at a local merchant, which they picked up the following Monday. When I went to pick up the transmission the owner said it was no problem and he didn't even charge me for the installation. Well, a year later and the car was finally ready to pick up but the mechanic could not get the trans into park. I took the car to Dillon and the next day the car was perfect. He and his wife and staff are congenial, know what they are doing. Their prices are fair as well. I've made a friend as well as gained a mechanic.

Merry Christmas
I can't thank Bob and Larry enough. I arrived in Kingman on the 22nd to get gas and had transmission trouble. I called a few businesses before and all said they were closed. I called Advanced Transmission Rebuilders and Bob (Owner) said he will call a technician and see if he would be willing to come in. Larry (technician) came in and quickly identified the problem and had me back on the road which literally saved Christmas for me and my family. These guys not only opened the shop to help me out but they were absolutely professional and wanted to make sure we could make it home. Service like this hardly exists these days and we are truly blessed that these guys are willing to go above and beyond any expectation to help someone out. You guys rock and I am so grateful to have met you. Thanks again.

New Management and New Attitude
The new people in Kingman have changed my opinion of this business. They took my truck in 3 years and 22,000 miles after they first worked on it. It has never been right. I heard there was new people so went and spoke to Rocco, he listened, then had a technician (Ben) test drive the truck and confirm the problems. I left the truck with them for 3 days and they went through the transmission identifying and fixing the problems. Total cost to me, nothing. Many thanks to Rocco, Ben and Larry. I will now gladly recommend this business
