Winter 2025
We had some issues with our truck while wintering in Kerrville. Lonnie and his crew worked on it until they figured it out and were able to fix it. Not being from the area it’s great to know there are still trustworthy mechanics around to help!!

Rescuing a helpless widow
Though I have AAA membership, when my 2007 Prius wouldn't start after sitting for two weeks, I called A1 for advice and prognosis. After hearing my sad story, they seized the initiative, came to my senior community home, jumped the car and took it to the shop. The problem was the battery, which had a projected life of 3 1/2 years, and was 7 years old. A1 explained the situation to me, and with my consent replaced the battery and returned the car to me that afternoon, in plenty of time for a medical appointment the next day. All the staff was kind and understanding and reassuring.

Unbelievably wonderful! Had been running errands and when returning to our car it just wouldn’t start called A-1 and within 15 minutes Billie who works on our cars was there and jump started our Honda! Turn key I out of A-1 in 2 1/2 hrs
New battery purchased and I was on my way to finish errands! Thank you gracious team!

Brakes and transmission
The staff went the extra mile to assure our truck was completely safe to drive. Being from out of town you don’t know who the trust worthy service people are but A-1 Transmission proved to be that and they even stayed later on Friday to get our truck done so we didn’t need to pay for our rental over the weekend. We will be going back if we need repairs again!
