DO NOT TRUST A1 with your business, EVER!
The barrings went out on our boat trailer 2 weeks before we were leaving for a boating vacation. My husband began calling around to find someone who could fix it in time for our vacation. Tim Church of A1 assured us he would have us ready to roll in time. He then asked us to bring it in on Monday.
Monday- my husband drove to A1 to get an idea about the drive since we were driving on a bad barring. Tim asked that we not bring the boat in yet because he needed to get a big rig out of the way first. He asked that we take some pics of the trailer and email them to him, which we did by 10:00am. He said he would call us in a few hours once he tracked down the parts and was ready to receive the trailer.
Tuesday- still no call from Tim. We called to see if he'd received the email. Tim said he wasn't sure, but he was in the middle of something and would call us back in 10 minutes.
Wednesday- still no call from Tim. We emailed asking for an update.
Thursday-7:00 am. Received an email stating, "I'm confused...we don't even have the boat". I responded at 7:20 saying we had been told not to bring it in and asking if we should go ahead and bring it down. NO RESPONSE. At 9:00 am- We called Tim again who said, "let me see if I can track down the parts and call you back in a couple of hours.
As of 9 days later...we still haven't heard a single word from Tim. Needless to say our boating vacation was boatless and completely ruined because we actually trusted Tim to do as he said promised he would. He is liar and has zero communication skills. By the time we realized how dishonest he was, it was too late to find someone else to do the job. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO HIM or trust his word.
